The Place

LifeStone Church is a Pittsburgh based ministry and to make it a little more specific since Pittsburgh is a major metropolitan area, we are planting our church in a community called “SouthSide”.  SouthSide is a community that is filled with young adults, young families and a just a whole lot of people.  People flock to SouthSide from all over the Pittsburgh area to hang out in this eclectic and somewhat “post-modern” area with its tatoo parlors, coffee houses, music stores and clubs!  But, there is so much more to SouthSide than East Carson Street (the main strip), and that is, the many people that actually call SouthSide their home!  God has put a very specific burden on our heart for the community and people of SouthSide!  Unfortunately, the people of SouthSide don’t have a plethra of Christian influence in their area with very minimal church’s and ministries that call this community home.  But Lifestone Church wants to play a key role in changing that by creating a “life-giving culture” in the SouthSide!  Our vision is to be a life stone in the community of SouthSide for Jesus Christ and help to give people what they are truly longing for, Authentic LIFE!
